fiascolondonlogo smallHello all. I hope you are enjoying a fantastic October, the beginning the winter! With Halloween round the corner, there are plenty of good nights going on this year, with Bugged Out and Mulletover exhibiting an awesome line up amongst others. At Fiasco we have been busy planning our main Leatherhead release in early 2010, with a further two single releases throughout the year.  Another exciting prospect for LH, will be the launch of Leatherhead Live – brace yourselves for this one, its going to be a frenzy of drumming, scratching, all culminating in a live performance like no other. Also catch them DJ with Fatboy Slim at Matter in the O2 on Dec 4th, and at the warehouse project the week before.. Leatherhead will also be filling the gaps with a whole bunch of remixes for other acts, including a sneak preview of one for Burn the Negative, called Only for tonight, which you can hear on www.myspace.com/leatherheadmusic Coming up this year, we are planning our next Fiasco Party.  This event will be mid december with the date and venue still to be announced.  You can expect another night of themed fun.

Here at Fiasco London, we are always on the look out for up and coming music, so please do send your tracks through to us. Just click on contact us at the top of the page.  Fiasco Radio is going to be with us soon, with online streaming of DJ sets from all over the world, from top DJs.  Thats it from Fiasco London for the moment, stay reading.

Rockness 2009 Headliners revealed..

175_115_rockness2009THE FRESHEST FESTIVE ANNOUNCEMENT
BASEMENT JAXX / DIZZEE RASCAL / THE PRODIGY / BIFFY CLYRO
BLAZING BRILLIANCE…ROCK NESS 2009 HEADLINE ACTS GET THE PARTY STARTED!

The hotly anticipated fourth annual ROCK NESS music festival well and truly got the party started today when organisers revealed the massive headline acts who will be rocking the main stage at the iconic loch in just over six months time.  Adding further excitement to the first wave of the ROCK NESS 2009 announcements is the news that organisers will be running, for the first time, the MAIN STAGE across three days.
Headlining the MAIN STAGE on Saturday 13 June in their first festival date for two years is the unstoppable sonic force that is BASEMENT JAXX. Following in the Rock Ness tradition of great electronic Saturday main stage headliners, BASEMENT JAXX promise to dazzle fans with their mix of good-time genre-defying party classics along with tracks from their new album due for release in 2009.

Adding serious music kudos to the Saturday MAIN STAGE headline offering is the electrifying beat master DIZZEE RASCAL. With a string of wildly successful collaborations to his name including innovative recordings with The Arctic Monkeys, Beck and Calvin Harris, plus a Mercury Music Prize to his credit, DIZZEE RASCAL at ROCK NESS will be his first festival of 2009 and follows his top class main stage slot at Reading which effectively saw him closing the 2008 festival circuit.

In a move sure to whip fans into a frenzy, not least the staggering sixty percent of the Rock Ness audience who voted them the ‘band they’d most like to see at Rock Ness’, THE PRODIGY are announced as headlining the MAIN STAGE on Sunday 14 June. With a December tour which sold out in record time and a new album due for release early 2009 – industry rumours are rife that it marks an awesome return to form – THE PRODIGY at ROCK NESS promises to be a truly unmissable musical highlight of 2009.

Joining THE PRODIGY as Sunday’s MAIN STAGE headliners is Scotland’s mightiest rockers BIFFY CLYRO. The Ayrshire trio have built a massive fan base and merit their reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts today, cemented earlier his month when they won Best Festival Rock Act of 2008 at the UK Festival Awards 2008. BIFFY CLYRO at ROCK NESS is a Scottish summer festival exclusive and follows hot on the heels of the band’s forthcoming sold out UK tour.

A very special FRIDAY NIGHT MAIN STAGE treat is lined up for fans with an amazing HEADLINE ACT to be revealed very soon.

ROCK NESS is also pleased to announce the continued involvement of goNORTH, the hugely successful music showcase dedicated to supporting the most exciting breakthrough talent, and is delighted that in 2009 it will return to Inverness on the 11 and 12 June .

Campsites will open at 10am on the Friday, and with the NESSTIVAL area opening as normal in the afternoon and offering a diverse weekend of entertainment where fans can sit in  a beautiful iconic location, ROCK NESS 2009 is already shaping up to be the ultimate party and finest start to the festival season.

annie mac

// September 21st, 2008 // No Comments » // Top DJs, Upcoming Events

Apart from her usual Sunday night Radio1 slot, Annie has been tearing up the festivals in 2008 with her surprisingly banging electro sets.

Fiasco first caught annie playing at gate crasher this year, directly befor the Audio Bullies, and she was blowing the roof off, dropping tunes from the crookers, Herve etc..

Her radio show takes a light-hearted look at the tracks that are filling every kind of dancefloor up and down the country, playing the very best of house, hip hop, bass and beats. “I couldn’t have asked for a better show that defines me and what I stand for, I am absolutely over the moon and can’t wait to get started.”

Catch Annie playing along side Leatherhead and DJ Yoda on october 31st for a Halloween Southern Comfort night, Soco Social at the Big Chill House, London
